Chamomile, also known as medicinal chamomile, is an annual herb from the Aster family. In Russia, the plant is cultivated everywhere, in the wild found in the South of our country. Often many are confused Daisy with Daisy, a beautiful garden plant. Distinguish them quite simply: chamomile flowers are much smaller and have a conical shape. In the flower baskets chamomile contains 0,2–0,8 % essential oil, of which specific component is chamazulene, flavonoids, glycosides, toxicomany, salicylic acid and ascorbic acid, and various bitterness, slime, gum.
